BTW, Tony Cheng, Do you research on China's inflation rate before you open your mouth on Aj Jazeera. It's not "about 20%" as you said on October 17, 2007. But he should at least to have the common sense that what an "about 20%" inflation rate could do to an economic. China has the inflation rate of 6.2% in September last month, 6.5% in the past August and that is the HIGHEST in the past 11 years. Tony Cheng probably should check where he got the idea that China has about 20% inflation rate in his report on October 17, 2007. __________________________________________________

Nonetheless, in the past year alone the rice price has doubled, pork increased by even more..and land prices have shot through the roof. Nobody can put an exact figure on inflation in China, but 20% is an estimate that many people feel reflects the true rising cost of living in China. __________________________________________________
