Snuilp ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 12:58:49 Great to hear about your experiences. I know for sure there is an afterlife. I've been there myself three times. Once for real and the other 2 were out of body experiences. Oh, I'm still no Christian or hater! ;) __________________________________________________
munkiiboi ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 22:53:20 they should rename out-of-body-experiences to out-of-BRAIN-experiences, cause this's really what they are! __________________________________________________
ejectorseatband ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 18:14:38 good points, well made... x b __________________________________________________
inmendham ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 06:42:12 """live their life in this reality.""" hopefully with the understanding that it will effect people in tomorrow's reality. __________________________________________________
InThisReality ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 06:12:43 Unfortunately if there is no God/no afterlife, the sad truth is that we are born, we live and we die. Once someone accepts that there is no goal to complete; that they are just intelligent flesh, then they can truly live their life in this reality. __________________________________________________
VirtualWiiality ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 00:30:36 brains are so powerfull. Look at the physics emulation while dreaming. Look at the personality emulation of friends that show up in dreams and they retain their persona. __________________________________________________
DarwinsHamster ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 22:41:47 I would certainly reveal me to be a lying bastard. __________________________________________________
mystykit ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 22:34:24 We used to do a trick with playing back the voice while speaking. An audio device can relay to an earphone what you've said faster than the body is used to hearing it. Funny when one starts trying to slow down one's speech to make it match. __________________________________________________
inmendham ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 21:50:25 """I'm not that fond of funerals""" Might be a lot more fun if everyone had to wear my (hope to be invented) lie-detector hat. __________________________________________________
DarwinsHamster ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 21:43:48 Good ideas. I have always felt that cemeteries and burials were, well, obscene in a way. I'm not that fond of funerals, either. __________________________________________________
squiggey ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 20:20:36 The vikings didn't fear death at all. Their biggest fear was to "die in the hay" as they said. It was better to die in battle. After that beautiful valkyrias brought them to Valhal. They spent every day fighting and chopping eachover to pieces. When the evening came their wounds healed and they entered Valhal on a wide line. All night they drank and feasted on pork, surrounded by beautiful women. That was some death :) __________________________________________________
RosieDesire ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 19:48:03 Just to let you know.. memorials do exist quite heavy on the net, many funeral homes have them. Usually, they are pretty shallow and more like obituaries than anything. However, there is a project going on in Augmented Reality that would allow you to go to a grave yard and pull up the history and information of the person buried at that location. Pretty cool stuff. And yes, there should be something more and their will be. I've read a few college disertations on the subject as well. __________________________________________________
RosieDesire ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 19:44:15 One of the best videos to day... love the line "we dream it everynight.." __________________________________________________
KevinBernal ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 19:29:35 Not to take anything from the comedy, the drama, the productive nature that is your previous work but I think this is your BEST yet. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that much of what you talk about has also been on my mind the last few days. This is 5+ stars. Also I think I will post, as a response, my own previous vid on dying and life after death. It mirrors some of what you say. __________________________________________________
CousinoMacul ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 19:18:38 I seem to remember people making memorial videos for Kurt Vonnegut when he died. I know that's not really what you were talking about, but it's a step in that direction. __________________________________________________ |
