MonkeyWithAWrench ::: Favorites 2007-12-16 15:05:10 right. if ya watch the oil at the bottom of the spring, it kinda flicks around, instead of moving slow and fluid __________________________________________________
gokudead133 ::: Favorites 2007-11-22 09:39:00 i am obsessed with this video. that whole video took place in .1029 of a second real time...the valve opened to .700" then closed gentley on the seat, the spring had time to compress and at max lift the middle coil shook twice and at rest the middle 3 coils shook 4 times and then did all that 6 more times!!!! great great video...puts it all in to a new light when you actully see the reason why sping pressure is so important. __________________________________________________
F1V1 ::: Favorites 2007-11-17 19:05:09 What in the Sam Hell? __________________________________________________
xphilip ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 21:05:06 Gents - the video is being shot in real time. The noise is the engine running. There is a strobe whose period is set to JUST LESS than the period of the engine. Eg 7000 rpm period = 0.00857 seconds (116.66 flashes per second). if the period was the same the valve would appear stationary, by setting it slightly less (slower) the valve appears to have advanced marginally between each flash. Any questions? :) __________________________________________________
laurence265 ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 12:02:23 suuuper slooow mooo.. nah this is super high speed camera and slowed down __________________________________________________

cevi99 ::: Favorites 2007-09-29 10:30:17 I RATHER SEE PISTONS AT 11,000RPM __________________________________________________
txfieros ::: Favorites 2007-09-23 11:11:12 The reason I said shutter speed is because it seems much the same as shooting an Airshow and changing the shutter speed on your video camera. At certain shutter speeds the propellers on the planes seem to stay still and not move. That's just my take on it. __________________________________________________
vrifts ::: Favorites 2007-09-23 05:47:39 i dont kno about all u guys but that looks so much like it was shot it slow motion. in slow motion shots, it usually has a strobe affect like this one does but the only thing that confuses me is the noise in the background. its so high pitched. if its the sound of that engine, its definitely too high for a slow motion shot __________________________________________________
vrifts ::: Favorites 2007-09-23 05:39:59 not a good idea. oil spits n it'l probly be hot __________________________________________________
LT1ZF6 ::: Favorites 2007-09-14 09:10:02 Actually, it's a strobe light __________________________________________________ |
